I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and maintain a private practice in
Mission Viejo, CA.
I have been licensed since 2000, and have been in private practice since that time. I work with those experiencing depression and anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and esteem issues, women's issues, and couples. My practice has a special emphasis in working with women and couples struggling with a variety of fertility issues, including infertility, grief after miscarriage, post partum depression, and adjustment to parenting. I have worked extensively with the Christian community, and have worked along side pastors in providing counseling to members of their congregations. I am a former adjunct professor at Western Seminary in Los Gatos, CA, and was on the management staff of Christian Counseling Center in San Jose, CA. I've led domestic violence, parenting, and anger management groups.
I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. Depending on the client's background, I will integrate both Christian and traditional methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
